Journalism – Content Marketing – Editorial Strategy – Social Media – Copywriting – Translation – Interpreting
Originally a die-hard Londoner, I moved to Paris to get a taste for that enviable lifestyle everyone was raving on about. It was only supposed to be for six months, but as the story goes for many expats here, when the time came to go home, it was too late – Paris, and its wealth of cultural offerings, were enough to convince me to stay on just a little longer. That was 12 years ago.
While taming the city’s certainly been a bit of a roller-coaster ride, I still live and work here. A freelance journalist, I have contributed articles about art, culture, design, food and travel to print and digital publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, Condé Nast Traveller magazine, Forbes, Wallpaper* Magazine, BBC Travel, and others. I have also worked as the editor of several online and print publications, including the international edition of Vogue.fr, and three magazines for the Accor Hotel luxury brands Raffles, Fairmont and Pullman.
As well as working in journalism, I’ve also seen the other side and collaborated with brands and corporate clients on their branding, image, content and social media. For instance, at Publicis I helped relaunch Lancôme with a focus on Instagram, and at Condé Nast France, I worked on the reboot of Glamour Magazine and its social media platforms. I have also worked on the online content and social media of other media like the HiP Paris Blog and Madame Figaro International, as well as brands under the L’Oréal and LVMH umbrellas, and corporate clients like AXA and Viva Technology.
I also have extensive experience in translation, interpreting and subtitling and speak fluent French.
More recently, I founded The Paris Press Agency, a bilingual editorial consultancy and content marketing agency, which specialises in crafting 360° content strategies across online and offline platforms, as well as content in English, French, and other languages.
If you’d like to discuss your content strategy, or commission me to write an article or copy, to translate some heavy-duty French, or you’d just like to say hi, get in touch!
I look forward to hearing from you,
