When you need a break from the city, and you find a spot like this just 45mins away #win. I never knew just how much there is to explore beyond Reims, the capital of Champagne. After dipping into some 5-star luxury here, I explored the pocket-sized villages scattered across the miles of rolling vineyards - wonderfully reinvigorating stuff! Totally fell in love with today’s lunch spot! A centuries-old café with creaky wooden floors, and the aroma of spicy mulled wine wafting through the dining room, it’s tucked in a village of the sprawling Burgundy countryside. Found this beautiful café near the Canal Saint Martin, called #AMA (47 rue du Faubourg du temple). I can’t find a website or Instagram account for it, but it’s stunning. A place without a cookie-cutter hipster aesthetic and with a whole lotta great food rustled up with farm-fresh produce, just as your French grandma would make it. Tried this little tucked-away bistro last weekend for brunch and it was fabulous. Runny cheese, homemade bread and jams, cake, eggs, fish, yoghurt, juice, bottomless tea (what more could you ask for?!) for 26 eur. Hard to beat.
