Totally fell in love with today’s lunch spot! A centuries-old café with creaky wooden floors, and the aroma of spicy mulled wine wafting through the dining room, it’s tucked in a village of the sprawling Burgundy countryside. Found this beautiful café near the Canal Saint Martin, called #AMA (47 rue du Faubourg du temple). I can’t find a website or Instagram account for it, but it’s stunning. It serves up good vibes and tasty vegan food that makes you feel energised, in stylish Morocco-meets-Ibiza style surroundings - and I’m obsessed! A place without a cookie-cutter hipster aesthetic and with a whole lotta great food rustled up with farm-fresh produce, just as your French grandma would make it. Tried this little tucked-away bistro last weekend for brunch and it was fabulous. Runny cheese, homemade bread and jams, cake, eggs, fish, yoghurt, juice, bottomless tea (what more could you ask for?!) for 26 eur. Hard to beat. It's been here for a while, but I only just discovered this fabulously atmospheric bar, and it might just be my new favourite place! The @barabullesparis is tucked in an alleyway and up behind the Moulin Rouge's rotating sails. Love its time-worn shabby chic Disney-meets-Alice-in-Wonderland interiors - think low-hanging lighting with pleated velvet lampshades, chequered floors, large posters advertising shows from the Moulin's heyday, and plenty of plant life creeping along the flaking walls...two big terraces with fairy lights, and throw in some of that century-old soul, and you've got a winner! This time last week, I woke up to this... Needless to say that my jaw almost hit the floor when I first laid eyes on this view.
